I rose before the sun bright and early with a young heart and a curious eye.
I’m gonna see the world in all its glory, or at least I’ll give it a try.
So I sailed away on hopes and dreams of treasures I knew I’d find.

After scorching days and stormy weather, and the ebb and flow of lives,
so many hopes and dreams have long since drowned beneath what appeared to be the sea of time.
But I knew I must dive much deeper for the doorway I’d yet to find.

I lay my tired body down and I had a dream.
The waves were cresting, cleansing, and the sea was rocking me.
It was my Being through and through,
and my heart swelled with endless blue.

So I rose before the sun bright and early with an open heart and a curious eye.
Now I’m gonna see the world in all its glory ‘cause I’m seeing it with inner eyes.
You see, I knew there was something much deeper, and much to my surprise that ocean of blue had been my teacher and it was there inside.
