You were to me a springtime shower shedding light on dormant leaves soon to flower. Now that my heart is in full bloom, you’re leaving. You showed me myself, unfolded golden wings that I had never felt. And no matter how high fly, I won’t stop, can’t stop your leaving. You close your eyes on the day like a sunset fading away into night. Shadows fall from your life. And when the morning light dawns you’ll be another step along; Stars in your eyes greet a brand new sunrise. You were to me a drink of water; quenched a thirst so deep in me I didn’t see the bottom. And this ocean of love in me won’t stop, can’t stop your leaving. ‘Cause you close your eyes on the day just like a sunset fading away into night. Seasons change your life. And in the blue light dawn you’ll be another step towards home; a star in the sky blazing to sunrise. You were to me….. special.

Always 03:53
I rose before the sun bright and early with a young heart and a curious eye. I’m gonna see the world in all its glory, or at least I’ll give it a try. So I sailed away on hopes and dreams of treasures I knew I’d find. After scorching days and stormy weather, and the ebb and flow of lives, so many hopes and dreams have long since drowned beneath what appeared to be the sea of time. But I knew I must dive much deeper for the doorway I’d yet to find. I lay my tired body down and I had a dream. The waves were cresting, cleansing, and the sea was rocking me. It was my Being through and through, and my heart swelled with endless blue. So I rose before the sun bright and early with an open heart and a curious eye. Now I’m gonna see the world in all its glory ‘cause I’m seeing it with inner eyes. You see, I knew there was something much deeper, and much to my surprise that ocean of blue had been my teacher and it was there inside. Always, always… it was there inside. Always, always… you were there inside.

Friend 03:44
Sometimes only a friend can understand where you are and where you’ve been. And sometimes only a friend can know how you feel deep, down in your soul. So friend, you can lean on me anytime you need to ‘cause friend, I believe in you. You’re dear to me and I’m here for you. How many times have you looked for one to turn to, but to whom you did not know? And how many times have you wanted to just run away, but knew not where to go? Well, friend, you can lean on me anytime you need to because friend, I believe, I believe in you. You’re here for me, and I’m here for you. Now things aren’t always easy in life as we terry down the road. Things happen every day, but please remember you’re not in this world alone. And friend, you can lean on me anytime you need to ‘cause friend, I believe you. You’re dear to me and I’m here for you. Yes I said, friend, oh you can lean on me anytime you need to, ‘cause friend, I believe, I believe in you. You’re here for me, and I’m here for you.

Take my hand, lead me on. I need to know where to go from here. Take my hand, lead me home. Sometimes the road is all but clear. Headlights glare through the back glass window. Red eyes see the lives left behind. No one said moving ahead was easy, but leaving, not grieving, was all that was on my mind. Take my hand, lead me on. I need to know where to go from here. Take my hand, lead me home. Sometimes the road is all but clear. Music keeps me up all night and driving on through morning; heading for the lights of home. Stop for gas and a little fresh air now. Car wheels see the hills yet to climb. I keep pushing on to the wide horizon, dreaming of the freedom I know I’m gonna find. Take my hand, lead me on. I need to know where to go from here. Take my hand, lead me home. Sometimes the road is all but clear. Sunshine, oh it warms my face and leads me on through evening. There’s so much to see in a single day going home. So take my hand, lead me on. I need to know where to go from here. Take my hand, lead me home. Sometimes the road is all but clear. So take my hand, lead me on. I need to know where to go from here. Take my hand, lead me home.

I dream of days. I dream of truthful ways. I dream of hope for all. I dream of days. I dream of life. I dream of peace of mind. I dream respect for all. I dream of days. I dream of love. I dream of grace and wisdom. I dream of freedom for all. I dream of days. In the heart you can see and hear the song of which I dream. I dream of days. I dream of truthful ways. I dream of hope for all. I dream of days. I dream of life. I dream of peace of mind. I dream respect for all. I dream of days. I dream of love. I dream of grace and wisdom. I dream of freedom for all. I dream of days.

The Journey 03:51
Dawn reveals the starting place of another day on the journey. Is it rain or shine in this heart of mine today? Wash clean the dirt from yesterday. Brush disheveled thoughts out. Pack up my tools and the fuel I’ll use today. And all along the road I know, living in every moment holds the key to where I want to go. I cinch my shoes as the trek begins, rely on my soul for protection. This rugged climb has consumed my mind for days. The stony surface is still in place, though showers have helped it to soften, it won’t melt down till the core is found and embraced. And all along the road I know, living in every moment holds the key to where I want to go. Descending deeper in darkness now, I clutch to things most familiar, as the dank, dark cold takes its hold of me. Stepping slow and steady on I whisper words of comfort. My frightened eyes strain hard and wide to see. My soul transcends as the sun shines in on me. Level earth now beneath my feet, I stop to enjoy a clearing. I kick off my shoes. I’ve paid my dues today. Reflect on all the day’s memories, events that color the sunset, and though it fades the journey will remain. And all along the road I know, living in every moment holds the key to where I want to go. All along the road I know, living in every moment takes me farther than I’ll ever know.

Teach me how to love. Give me the strength to open this window. Teach me how to love, to let the light shine into every dusty, dark corner. A faint flicker burns in the far end of this room. The darkness yearns to be awakened from the night, to feel the love of illumination. Cold chambers sleep, and wait for the warm breath of daylight. A stroke on the cheek is all that it takes to bring senses to life again. Teach me how to love. Give me the strength to open this window. Teach me how to love, to let the light shine into every dusty, dark corner. Sunlight streams through revealing the hues of the rainbow, on a painted canvas come true; the animation of dreams through heartfelt emotions. Hope comes alive as melodies dance on a ceiling. Imagination arrives with palate in hand to add detail and meaning. The room now ablaze, consumed by the warm kiss of firelight. While hungry flames shoot out across the sky leaving sprinkles of starlight. New sparks take hold, each twinkle a song of rejoicing. And so goes the flow, burning past this window pane in a silent voice. Teach me how to love. Teach me how to love. Please, teach me how to love.

Amelia 02:55
Gray clouds, your eyes sailed into the day and on through the night. With a vision fixed and clear, you charted your course, your destiny here. I wonder by now if you gray skies have turned to blue. Amelia, where are you? Over oceans and seas of dreams you carried your heart coming apart at the seams, for a freedom that somehow you knew, you could hold in your hands the higher you flew. I wonder now if your soul is soaring alive and free. Amelia, can you hear me? Light on the water soothes your face. It reminds you of a place you’ve been before. Long arms, your wings glided into new worlds few people had seen. With a quiet strength you pursued. You knew it was balance that maintained altitude. I wonder if the light and the darkness are balanced in you. Amelia, please tell me…. … all your words left unsaid… and so many dreams unfulfilled. Tell me what was in your head, Amelia, on your final flight, the day your life stood still….

Reunion 04:13
The tide rolled in and washed those feelings up again. I thought I had let them go, now I see the chest I buried them in. I saw your face and it all came back to me. Warm water washed over my soul as if we didn't ever leave.... and CH: I heard my body calling to you all night, all night long. I heard my body calling to you... all night long. Our fingers touched. I felt my heart ignite. Two sparks beneath the ashes now embraced in light. In rising heat, I heard you breathe my name. That's when the buried embers burst forth in flame. CH Bridge: I want to reach the stars with you. I want to fly through galaxies. I want to go to Venus with you. I want to please and be pleased. I want to know the gift of creation, where it is in you and me. Through love of body, mind and spirit and emotion, we are free. The tide flowed out, along with my tears. When will we merge again? I hope it won't be years. 'Cause the sea of my soul, oh it yearns to know, why for so many lifetimes now our hearts have ebbed and flowed and they can't let go. CH

Have a little faith. Have a little confidence now. I must believe I’m here to make a difference. Somehow I know I have something the whole world needs. Let it show and I’ll set myself free. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day that I’m given the best I can. Looking back I see it all now bright and clear. That path brought me all the way here. And, no, it wasn’t coincidence. It was the plan right from the start. And that rocky road was easy, ‘cause I followed, always followed my heart. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day to the fullest and one day I’ll understand. Well, I’m here to serve you and me and everyone. I don’t see myself in the things I do, see the whole picture and how I fit in the scheme. Oh, my dreams will take me there. And when the puzzle’s complete, all in life will be clear. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day that I’m given the best I can. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day to the fullest and one day I’ll understand... …if I have a little faith.

I can't believe it, the way I feel when you're near me, a love so real and tender taking over all my emotions. And I can't believe it, this love inside, overwhelming, and I just can't hide it from no one, but that's alright. CH: 'Cause the love you give is enough to light all the world. And each passing day I live, I see a little more unfurl. And I can't believe it, the love I see you pouring out to me and to everyone who meets you on their way. And I can't believe it, but I know it's true 'cause I see it in all you do for everyone, and that's alright. CH And I can't believe it, right here now, taking over, and I don't know how you found me, but that's alright. Yeah, you found me and that's alright.

I’ve climbed mountains high and I’ve trudged through swamps so low. The peaks and valleys of my life I continue to get to know. I’ve had many maps and travelers that I followed till the flame burned out. With constant light behind me now, I know I’ll get there without a doubt. ‘Cause on the wind of change I’m riding. On the wind of change I found my Soul. On the wind of change I’m climbing higher, than I ever thought I’d go. I listened to the wind along the way. I spoke to every tree and stone. Shared their truths of each passing place, but each one sang a different song. Child in the wilderness, I heard voices all around. I didn’t ask who or from where they came, I just knew somehow I was found. And on the wind of change I’m riding. On the wind of change I found my Soul. On the wind of change I’m climbing higher, than I ever thought I’d go. Well, night fell and I lay down on the blanket of earth beneath me. I awoke on a precipice and I cried thinking, “This is the end.” I screamed, “Take this cross of burden off my back. I just want to fly into the wind!” At that the mist before me cleared and I saw an endless, deep blue sea. Then a man walked up, he took my hand and said, “You’re serious, then come with me.” Now, on the wind of change I’m riding. On the wind of change I found my Soul. On the wind of change I’m climbing higher, than I ever thought I’d go. (twice) I said, “Thank you.” And he said, “No, thank Huuuu….”
